Andersen Consulting went on to become Accenture in 2001, having split with Arthur Andersen & Co, which went out of business in 2002 following Enron and Worldcomm scandals.

As of 2022, Dublin-based Accenture is considered the largest consulting firm in the world by number of employees, with annual revenue of $61 billion then.
