Isaac Newton Vail (January 30, 1840 – January 26, 1912) was an American Quaker educated in mathematics, astronomy, Latin, and Greek, best known for his Canopy Theory, a theory of a ring around the Earth (like the rings around Saturn) that would have crashed down with the Flood.
